Pizza, hotdog, hamburger, potato
chips, soda, they are called junk food.
Many people like it because junk food
is a fast food that so delicious and it easy to get with cheap price. It start from child, teenagers, event oldman
still consuming it. One of government research stated that the consumer of junk
food is increase in every single year. Unfortunately, they did not know what
will happen if they still consume junk food frequently. Many health professionals
said that junk food is one of food that can make damage for our health. These
are three trouble for our body that caused by junk food : obesity, healths
problem, affect the child psychologically.
The first problem is obesity. Obesity can be caused by junk food because
junk food contain a lot of fat. Fat deposition can make damage for our body, it
make a disease to us sometime. And in Indonesia, people who suffering obesity
are increase in every year. No wonder, because they have fast food lifestyle
and choose junk food to eat. But they do not know that the obesity threatens
them everytime.
The second is healths problem. As we know that junk food is made from
unhealthy food. So it can make healths problem to us, such as :

By eating junk food,
a teen will
not get the nutrients
needed for proper functioning of
the body. This means that teenagers will
always be tired and
exhausted to do
any work.

A teenager will continue to feel hungry
and weak due to
the imbalance created by junk food.
3.
Junk food is full of fat
and calories, more than what is needed
for the body every
day. This will
get converted to fat
deposits in the body.
4.
Being over-weight affect the
flow of oxygen to
brain cells and this
can affect concentration
and memory.
5.
Consumption of high fat foods like french fries, burgers and
pizza cause the
formation of plaque in arteries and as a result of the heart must
work harder to
pump blood. This can cause damage to
the heart muscle
causes heart disease-related.
The third is junk food can affect the child psychologically. This is true because some health
professionals have a research stated that the sugary snacks
and fatty foods were associated with children's behavior. This type of food in
said cause children tend naughty and difficulty concentrating. They also found
that children are not fed properly, ie not in accordance with a menu balanced
nutrition early on, the damage for the damage would occur in their body system.
At school, these children would be stupid.
As the result, junk food is a food that can give
disadvantage to us if we consume it frequently. It have said that junk food is
bad for our health, but we still can consume it, if we can control it. The good eating junk
food up to 10 percent
of total food
intake in a day, For
example, eating biscuits only two pieces,
then added more
vegetables. That is the way that can we use if we want to keep
balance between junk food and our health.
